Lawn Command uses artificial intelligence to help you take better care of your lawn. This page explains exactly how AI is used, what data is involved, and what it means for you.

AI Provider

All AI features are powered by Google's Gemini API. When you use an AI feature, data is sent to Google's servers for processing and a response is returned to the App. We do not operate our own AI models.

AI-Powered Features

🔬 Turf-Check (Image Analysis)

What it does: Analyzes a photo of your lawn to identify potential issues — diseases, pests, nutrient deficiencies, or weeds — and suggests treatments.

Data sent to Google: Your lawn photo, along with general lawn care context (such as grass type, current season, and recent conditions) to improve the analysis.

Data NOT sent: Your name, email, address, or any personally identifiable information.

Photo storage: Photos are stored securely in your account so you can view your scan history. You can delete individual scans at any time. Photos sent to Google for analysis are processed in real-time.

💬 Coach's Note (Daily Summary)

What it does: Generates a short, personalized lawn care tip or summary based on your current conditions.

Data sent to Google: Aggregated lawn care context — such as weather conditions, seasonal status, grass type, and recent lawn care activity — to generate a relevant summary.

Data NOT sent: Your name, email, address, photos, or any personally identifiable information.
